Here at Single Mothers Outreach, we strive to give our members the hope and courage to move forward. With that purpose, we have annual events that allow us to do just that. Whether it be to raise funds to continue in our mission, or an event to celebrate the members we serve. Everything you do will continue in serving this community. Here are a few of the events we have throughout the year.
Empowering HeArts

Empowering HeArts is our annual signature fundraising gala. Six SCV artists make amazing art pieces that help tell six local women's stories depending on the year's theme.

An evening filled with beautiful art, impacting stories and community. For highlights from this year's Resilience gala click here

Make-a-Mother's Day

Make-a-Mother's Day is a day where we get to celebrate our hard working mom's.

Childcare is provided for our members who attend so they can have a well-deserved, relaxing day to have a nice brunch, enjoy some games and win some neat prizes. Volunteers are always welcome to join in on the fun! For more info and photos click here.

Back-to-School Drive

For a single mom it could be a struggle to provide basic necessities for her children. Each year, Single Mothers Outreach holds a Back-to-School drive. For info on how to donate or how you can help at our back-to-school event click here.

Adopt-a-Family is our annual holiday program. Each year our members work hard to maintain their membership active. Whether they are working or going to school full-time, participating in grow activities in the community, or participating in classes offered by SMO.

At the end of the year they get to see their hard work pay off by receiving wonderful gifts for themselves and their kids, provided by Princess Cruises.
